An arcade machine, also known as a video arcade machine or video game arcade cabinet, is the housing within which a video arcade game's hardware resides. Arcade machines have been a popular form of recreation since their creation. We also have a tournament quality dartboard set in this category.
There are many different models of arcade cabinets, some even being custom-made for a particular game. We have some of the most popular varieties available, such as:
• Pinball machines - Points are scored by a player working one or more steel balls on the play field inside the cabinet. The primary objective of the game is to score as many points as possible. Points are earned when the ball strikes different targets on the play field. The primary skill of pinball involves application of the right timing and technique to the operation of the flippers, nudging the playfield when appropriate without tilting, and choosing targets for scores or features. This game requires skill and quick reaction times.
• Baby machines - The mini, cabaret or baby cabinet/machine is a squatter version of the upright cabinet. These machines spare bulk and are easier for small children to play than some full-size cabinets.
• Upright machines - The most common machines found in arcades, designed to give an authentic arcade experience. The monitor is designed to be at approximately eye level
• Sit down/table machines - Very popular in the 1980s, these stylish machines provide a retro look and over a hundred exciting games to play.
Our baby, upright and sit down machines all contain between 99-150 games. All equipment necessary to play is included with each machine.
